Account Manager & Arborist
David grew up racing sailboats on Lake Erie and was fortunate to race professionally at regattas worldwide. As a teenager, David worked for the Aurora Parks Department in the summers and quickly fell in love with arboriculture and landscape design.
David graduated from the University of Akron in Business Administration and earned his International Certified Arborist. Upon graduating college, he focused on using his skills and life experiences connecting to landscapes and design to help people understand and connect with nature in their yards. He was a consultant for Augusta National Golf Course (home of the Masters) and TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida (home of the Players Championship) for many years. David enjoyed working for 20 years with amazing clients from large to small projects all with the common goal of personalizing nature for the enjoyment of all.
He immersed himself in other cultures and enjoyed the distinct architecture and natural beauty globally, but after selling his preservation land care company in Jacksonville, Florida, David relocated back home to Cleveland. Upon meeting Marc, David quickly realized Native was creating something unique by focusing on the roots of our ecosystem and working to educate and create fantastic, brilliant landscapes. We’re super excited to have David join the Native Team.
