What We Specialize In
Landscape Design Studio Experience

Work one-on-one with a dedicated designer supported by an entire studio team—project coordinators, ecologists, senior designers, and project managers—ensuring a seamless, highly curated design journey from concept to completion.

Native-Inspired Landscapes

We craft elegant, horticulturally rich designs rooted in native plant palettes—where nature acts as a co-pilot, supporting beauty, biodiversity, and low-maintenance living.

Ecologically Focused Site Analyses

Every project begins with a deep ecological assessment—soils, hydrology, light, existing vegetation—to understand how the land wants to function and design in harmony with it.

Old-World Masonry & Hardscape Design

Our hardscapes reflect timeless craftsmanship—stonework, pathways, and garden structures shaped with old-world techniques that naturally blend into the surrounding landscape.

Reclaimed Materials & Artifacts

We thoughtfully incorporate reclaimed stone, wood, and architectural artifacts to create a sense of history, permanence, and character that feels both grounded and refined.

Integrating Restoration & Perimeter Buffer Zones

We restore ecological balance by adding native buffer zones along the edges of properties—strengthening habitat connections while creating a more natural, peaceful transition between built and wild spaces.

Your garden will become a meaningful, beautiful place for you to spend time with your loved ones while actively restoring biodiversity in your neighborhood.
From Vision to Reality

Our team provides expert installation and ongoing maintenance to keep your native landscape thriving.

Ryan Delia

Landscape Designer

Meet Ryan, one of the talented landscape designers bringing clients’ visions and the vision of Native to life. Ryan’s deep appreciation for the natural world stems from childhood memories of summers spent exploring the west side and the Metroparks–a passion that continues to drive his work today. His journey to Native has been nothing short of enlightening, sparked by the wisdom of Doug Tallamy, whose teachings he now embraces as guiding principles.

Elliot Killen

Senior Project Manager

Meet Elliot, a landscape architect with a deep reverence for nature and a keen eye for design. From an early age, he found peace among trees and wild plants, drawn to their quiet beauty and timeless presence. His passion for capturing intricate native details and dynamic forms grew through photography when he moved to Cleveland. Today, he channels that same appreciation into crafting sustainable, low-maintenance landscapes that seamlessly connect with the natural world.

With a master’s degree in landscape architecture, Elliot brings a thoughtful, informed approachto every project, blending creativity with responsibility. His expertise in hardscaping allows him to integrate structural elements—paths, walls, patios, and decks—that enhance both function and aesthetics, creating spaces that feel organic and enduring. For Elliot, native plants and sustainable landscaping are more than professional interests—they are a commitment to conservation and the belief that beauty and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand. Outside of work, he enjoys capturing nature through photography, traveling to new destinations, and immersing himself in outdoor adventures. He also finds joy in exploring holistic and natural medicine, discovering unique restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

HOW IT WORKS

Every project at Native begins with listening and ends with beauty built to last. Here’s what to expect.

01

Discovery and Site Visit

We begin with a walk through your property and a thoughtful conversation. We take in the architecture of your home, the natural flow of the land, and your vision for how the space should feel and function.

02

Design Development

From base mapping to concept planning, we translate inspiration into a 2D scaled plan and optional 3D renderings. This phase is creative and collaborative—refined until the design feels just right.

03

Presentation and Revisions

We present the design and fine-tune it with you. Through thoughtful revisions and open dialogue, we shape a landscape that aligns with your goals, budget, and sense of place.

04

Value Engineering

We bring the design into balance with your investment goals—refining materials and phasing strategies while staying true to the design intent. The dream stays intact. The path gets clearer.

05

Procurement and Construction

Once finalized, we hand-select plants, prep our team, and set a start date. Every detail is considered before we break ground.

06

Final Walkthrough

Once installation is complete, we walk the site with you and leave nothing undone. You’ll receive a personalized care guide—and we’re happy to continue supporting your landscape as it grows.
